Kym and Ashley - The Video

A different view of Kym and Ashley wedding was taken by Matt from Ebenezer Films. This video was taken during the photo shoot and shows off Matts contemporary approach to making amazing wedding films. Music is by Stu Larsen.

Sara and Tim

Another cloudy day threatening rain and a couple of new locations. We didn't have to rush the photos either as we had a couple of hours up our sleeve. I had heaps of fun and got to try a couple of things that I have wanted to test out for a while and hooray.....they worked.

Lauren and Aaron

Yet another rainy day, but it didn't dampen the spirits of everyone involved. These guys both wrote their own vows and I think everyone at the ceremony had a couple of tears in their eyes. We only had an hour or so to do some location photos but everyone was keen to get into it, and we actually finished with 15 mintues to spare so everyone could relax for a while before we headed to the reception.

The New Coates - Hemi

Hi All. A bit of an aside from the wedding shots. There is a new member of the coates/salt studios family. Her name is Hemi and she is purebreed Great Dane. Slowly but surely getting more obedient so hopefully by the time she is 6 months old she will be able to do all sorts of tricks. Maybe?? The shots above are from 4 days old, 4 weeks, 7 weeks and 10 weeks.

Dani and Jason

A wondferful Sunday afternoon pretty much set the tone for these guys. We were at woodlands which is a beautiful setting, but combined with dani's dress, the elegant bridesmaids and the guys looking super sharp made it an almost perfect afternoon. Everything was very relaxed and there was a great feeling among all the guests. A wonderful day all round.

Beck and Allan

Seems I have a lot of friends who are getting married recently. I've known Beck since she started high school and it was very exciting to see her getting married. On the photography side of things, it was a great day for photos even if there was a little bit of rain around. A couple of new locations made it an exciting challenge for me too.

Evelyn and James

My first greek wedding. I had a an absolute blast. The family was so welcoming and they all knew how to have fun. The orthodox church was amazing inside for photographs and the locations all worked really well. A good day all round.

Beth and Greg

After looking at 'the villa' on the web I was really looking forward to an amazing location. Upon arrival, heavy clouds and nice diffused light made 'the villa' look even more spectacular than the web photos. Rain came from those heavy clouds which meant the wedding was held inside but we had a break in the weather where we managed to get some nice outdoors shots.

Leesa and James

A new location. Hooray. Wonderful stradbroke island. The wedding was on a beautiful beach, tropical weather and the bride arrived on a jetski. It doesn't get much more summery than this. I had a great day even though I ended up with wet shoes and pants from the knees down thanks to a freak wave during taking the shots at the red and yellow flags. Remember kids, always swim between the flags. The relaxing ferry ride home took my mind of my squishy shoes though.

Kym and Ash

I was looking forward to photographing today as two of my good friends kym and ash were tying the knot. We had heaps of fun taking shots and almost had to put handcuffs on the guys to stop them striking poses. A few extra shots from this wedding for you all to have a look at. Congrats guys.

Jo and Ian

An amazing story behind how Ian and Jo meet helped give me a few ideas with some shots, but at peppers resort you don't have to go far to come up with some inspiration. A beautiful bride, dress, kilt and setting. If wedding photography was this always this easy everyone would be doing it.

Jacq and Dan

Maleny is one of those places that wherever you point the camera you pretty much can't go wrong. On a lookout over the glasshouse mountains made for some awesome photos. Plenty of time also made the photoshoot keep with the relaxed vibe of the whole day.

Elicia and Nick

I don't think i've laughed so much at wedding as I did with these guys. We only had a short time to get the shots but camera was clicking constantly trying to keep up with all that was happening.

Sam and Joel

Joel and Sam had a very classic look to the wedding. Great detail in her dress and boys looking casual but classy. A mixture of elegant photos as well as some just for fun. Overall, a great day and another one that i'm looking forward to doing the album for.

Genevieve and Steve

After a long drive thorugh the forest to Nanango, it was threatening to rain all day, but it held off just long enough and made for nice diffused light. I can't wait to start doing the coffee table book for these. Lots of fun shots to work with.

Rachelle and Troy

Bringing back memories for me. Troy and Rachelle were married at boyce gardens, where i was married a few years ago. We headed to the studio in and then took a walk through town. It was getting dark toward the end, but it actually worked in our favour.
