Andrew Coates Photography has now officially joined with Simon Hall Photography to become Salt Studios. In the past we have been operating Salt Studios together for all our commercial and industrial photography. We are now in demand more than ever and to share our wedding, portrait and fashion workload and we have decided to join forces. Kirkegaard Family

After photographing their wedding a few years ago, we have become great friends and it was wonderful to have the chance to take some more photos together. This time with an extra addition. Little Madeline is super cute and was really easy to photograph ( when she wasn't playing with rocks ) :-)

Davis Family

I have been friends with the Davis's for as long as I can remember. While they were all together at the same time it was a great opportunity to get some photos of the family. Especially with the new addition of Hayden.

Hayley and Grant

I drove out early to check out Jimbour Homestead where the wedding was to take place. I was blown away by the size of the house and as soon as I arrived I was overcome with ideas. Gotta love days where inspiration comes easily. We managed to get some photos at Jimbour and then drove to Hayleys families property and even managed to squeeze in some sunset shots. Thanks for heaps of laughs during the day everyone.

Emma and Jimmy

Firstly a big congratulations to you both on building your new home. I hope it won't be too long before you get the keys and can start the big move. We had heaps of fun during the shoot and with some varied locations we could get lots of different style shots too. Thanks heaps for a fun afternoon and I hope one of the photos can occupy some wall space in your new home.

LeDilly Family

Jenni & Jason came looking for some happy family snaps and they brought to me 2 bright, gleaming boys full of energy. With both boys comfortable in front of the camera we were able to have heaps of fun during the shoot allowing their personality to shine through. It was hard to pick which photos to post but these are some of my favourites, hope you like :)

Gloria and Ben

I was really looking forward to spending the day with Ben and Gloria and even more looking forward to having the chance to shoot in the Toowoomba Art Gallery. Every time I go in there I have some new ideas and it was great to have a chance to try some of them out. I was really happy with the results and especially the archway photo above. Oliver and Andrew

It is always a challenge to photograph teenage boys but Andrew and Oliver were very natural in front of the camera and it showed through in the shots that we got. A fun shoot and we had some massive laughs during the hour or so that we had together.

Hayley and John

An absolutely beautiful day. The girls left the hotel and arrived at the ceremony via horse and carriage. Fantastic for photos. We found ourselves with time to spare after the location shoot ( which never happens ) so we headed back to the reception and had a chance to do some photos around the restaurant. A very relaxed day all round and I am looking forward to catching up with John and Hayley when the get back from their holiday. Maybe even a 'trash the dress' shoot. http://trashthedress.com/

Easterfest 09

It's always great to be a part of a close friends wedding, and today was no different. It has been wonderful over the last couple of years seeing your relationship grow and get to the point where you are now 'hitched'. Hooray. As a special birthday treat Courtney's mum arranged for her to get some photos done with friends. It's always enjoyable doing fashion and friends shoots and always look forward to seeing the final product.

Everything today ran really smoothly and my job as a photographer was made very easy by great weather, fantastic locations and awesome models. I'm stoked with how the photos came out and i hope you guys like them as well.
